The west is burning and there’s is no relief anytime soon. There’s more than 80 fires raging, covering up to 1.4 million acres.  Wildfires caused a great significant amount of damage destroying people’s homes, closing highways, and forcing people to evacuate from the city. There’s a large capacity of smoke that expanded over the week which caused others to have a hard time to breath. Ash and smoke is being floated around our atmosphere.

Americans are in the middle of an unlucky series of natural disasters. In Houston, hurricane “Harvey” is causing widespread of floods, and in the western area of america, it’s just the opposite with extreme heat and dry conditions. The Terra Satellite has captured many pictures of the wildfires. Some wildfires captured in these pictures are  unidentified. In Montana, most of the state are in a drought and spent 50 million for the suppression since June. Oregon has spent 28 million, with fires likely to burn into the fall.

If you were to breath the air in Missoula it would feel like you we’re smoking continuously. Schools are allowing their kids out to recess, the public health control said that adult and children should avoid outside activities. The reason why there’s so many fires out is because of the “climate enable” across the region.

“I believe that we have the right processes and the right procedures of attacking and fighting fires,”Purdue said in a speech last week. “But if you don’t have the resources and the means of dependable funding, that’s an issue.”
